Returns & Exchanges

At Cherished Fibres, we carefully select and prepare every product with love and attention. Please review our policy below before placing your order.

Exchange Eligibility

We currently do not offer refunds. Exchanges are available for regular-priced yarn only within 14 days of delivery, provided that:

  • The yarn is unused and in original condition
  • The original receipt or order number is provided
  • The item is not a final sale product

Approved exchanges may be processed as:

  • An exchange for an equivalent item, or
  • Store credit

Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale and are not eligible for refunds or exchanges:

  • All non-yarn items
  • Clearance items
  • Products purchased during special sale periods
  • Products purchased using discount or promo codes

Exchange Instructions

You may exchange eligible products at our warehouse by appointment. Please email us at cherishedfibres@gmail.com to schedule a drop-off time.

If you are unable to visit our warehouse, you may ship your exchange using the courier or mail service of your choice.

Before sending any exchange, please contact us at cherishedfibres@gmail.com for authorization. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Please include the following inside your parcel:

  • A note explaining the reason for the exchange
  • Your packing slip (if available) or order number

Shipping Responsibility

Customers are responsible for all exchange shipping costs. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

For items valued over $75 CAD, we strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance. Cherished Fibres is not responsible for parcels lost or damaged during return transit, and we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

Inspection & Approval

Once your exchange is received and inspected, we will notify you by email regarding the approval status. Eligible products must be returned in their original condition and quality.

If approved, store credit will be issued via email.

Non-Eligible Returns

Cherished Fibres reserves the right to reject exchanges that:

  • Are sent beyond the 14-day exchange window
  • Are not in original condition
  • Fall under final sale categories

This includes non-yarn items, clearance products, items purchased during special sale events, and products purchased using discount codes.

If non-eligible products are returned to us, you may choose to:

  • Pay to have the items shipped back to you, or
  • Have the items donated or responsibly disposed of on your behalf
